If you spend enough time in Latin America, you're going to meet a lot of Venezuelan girls.
Men and women alike are leaving the country due to the country's ongoing crisis, starting new lives everywhere from Santiago, Chile to Miami, Florida.
Because the country has basically been a no-go zone for travellers the past 10 years, relatively little has been written about this topic. Sure, we all know that they are famous for being beauty queens, but what are they like? Are they sweet? Standoffish? Sensual?
Here are my observations on Venezuelan women.
NOTE: Yes, I know how foolhardy it is to generalize girls from Venezuela based on only a handful of experiences with them inside and outside the country...but that shit has never stopped me before!
Where Can You Find Venezuelan Women?
The recent Bolivarian diaspora means that you can find Venezuelan women in nearly every country in LATAM. For geographic reasons, you'll encounter the bulk of them in Panama, Colombia and along the border area of Brazil. But they also have a increasing presence in Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Peru.
In Panama City, you'll find many in the neighbourhoods of Condado del Rey, as well as Costa del Este (right next to Panama Viejo).
In Bogota, you'll find many in Cedritos, a barrio in the north of the city, as well as in Sante Fe. In reality, you'll find them all over the city and country.
In Mexico City, where they live is rather spread out, but many work in restaurants in Colonia Roma and Condesa.
In Lima, you'll find them living in San Juan de Lurigancho. ***UPDATE: Peru has decided to grant work visas to Venezuelans that arrive in the country. There are many more of them now, you can find them all over the city.
When you come across young Venezuelan immigrants in other Latin countries, chances are they did not come with their entire families (too expensive). Usually, they would have gathered only enough money to send their son(s)/daughter(s) abroad with the idea that they would send some money back home to help out.
Their Economic Situation Abroad
Unsurprisingly, Venezuelans abroad in South America aren't flush with cash. Upper class Venezuelans that emigrate normally opt for Miami, so the ones you'll find down here are normally from the poor/middle class back home. Because they don't often have permission to work in their new country, they have to get by with unskilled jobs and employers often exploit them with long hours and low pay. The majority work as waiters/waitresses, cooks, or, if they are really hard done by, street sellers, hawking items on buses, streets and subways.
For this reason, the living situation of Venezuelan women abroad isn't ideal. They'll almost always be rooming with several people and have very few personal belongings. However, even under such dire circumstances, things are still better for them than they would be living in their native country.
How are They Received in Other Countries?
There is definitely some hate toward Venezuelans in other countries. The influx of Venezuelans into Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru in particular hasn't been taken well by locals. The men hate the men because it means increased competition for lower class jobs, and the local women hate Venezuelan women because they are sexier than the local women (I speculate).
It's not cool, but I kind of get it.
The countries that are closest to Venezuela tend not to get the best of the best Venezuelan immigrants. This is because the upper class ones left long ago for greener pastures, like Europe, the United States or, to a lesser extent, Mexico. I can say from recent first hand experience that there are some gangster as fuck-looking Venezuelans in the streets of Lima and Quito that weren't there before. And since locals are more reluctant to hire them, many will turn to crime.
It doesn't help that they are all obnoxious decked-out in Venezuelan hats, shirts, pants etc. They are extremely patriotic people, and I must say the Venezuelans I've met abroad in Latin America don't seem particularly grateful for the countries that have taken them in.
Even considering terrible state their country is in, many still manage to find a million ways to shit talk the countries that have generously accepted them. Not all of them, probably, just most of the ones I've met.
I'm not so ridiculous as to sum up a nation's entire female population as having uniform personality traits. That being said, the following things have been consistent with all of the Venezuelan women I've met:
1. National Pride
Venezuelans both at home and abroad have a tremendous sense of pride in their country. You'll often see them sporting baseball caps with the country's flag, and hear them talking endlessly about the things they love and/or the things they miss (Polar Beer).
While this could be attributed to the fact their country is going to shit (people are usually more patriotic during tough times), Venezuela consistently ranks as one the world's most patriotic countries. They also ranked 1st in this category in 2006, which was before things started to get really bad economically.
All the Venezuelans I have met have all been extremely proud of their heritage.
Expressiveness is another trait I've noticed to be common among the women of this country. Venezuelans - from what I've seen - are a very passionate people. Almost on the level of Cubans. The girls are warm and will often do things like touch your arm during conversation to indicate empathy, agreement or excitement (be careful not to mistake this for attraction, because it's not always the case).
I've found this also extends to the bedroom. The Venezuelans I've been with have been more vocal than other Latinas in the sack, and aren't afraid to tell you what they like. There is a decidedly more affectionate and passionate element to sex with a Venezuelan woman than there is with a Peruvian or Mexican women, for example. At least that's been my experience.
It's a good thing.
3. No Interest In Local Men
When you encounter girls from Venezuela in other Latin countries, they will always say that they are not attracted to the local men. I'm not saying it never happens, but I have never met a Venezuelan in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, etc who was dating a Mexican, Peruvian, Ecuadorian, etc. They tend to stick to other Venezuelans or foreigners.
It's worth mentioning though that this isn't something that's unique to Venezuelans. Drop a Colombian or Brazilian girl in Mexico or Peru and she'll say the same thing. But I will say that this sentiment seems to be stronger among those from the Bolivarian Republic.
This could be because most of them have dreams of returning home when things become more stable, so they are less open to getting into something serious with a local.
Are They Hot?
In short, yes, Venezuelan girls are hot. Both at home and abroad. But I will say that I think that all their Ms. Universe titles have inflated their reputation slightly. On average, I would not say that they are any more attractive than Colombians.
Depending on what country you're in, you may be able to pick them out from a crowd based on their appearance. For instance, I met a Venezuelan in Larcomar in Lima, Peru. Before even speaking to her I could tell she wasn't Peruvian based on her relative attractiveness.
Don't get me wrong, I've bumped into some ugly ones too, but for the most part the attractiveness of Venezuelans isn't something you should be concerned about.
Are They Easy?
The verdict is still out on this. I really don't know. My experience is all over the map. There have been two Venezuelans I've managed to bang within 48 hours of meeting them. Others took weeks. Some I've had to give up on because it was never going to happen.
I know one Venezuelan girl who I suspect has the highest body count of any girl I've ever met (I'd venture it's at least 50 guys).
On the other hand, I know two Venezuelan sisters who are virtually celibate.
I simply don't have the sample size to give a definitive answer (yet 😉). You'll have to take them on a case-by-case basis.
Having never been in a relationship with one, I can't comment as to what that might be like. Although cheating in Venezuela is well-known to be endemic, so you may want to keep that in mind before getting into any relationships with Venezuelan girls.
Again, probably a case-by-case sort of thing.
Are They Good At Sex?
My most pleasant finding so far. The Venezuelans I've been with have all been highly skilled in sackplay. More so than any other group of Latinas.
Now, again, we have issues with sample size here. But fuck it. I'm going to extrapolate because I like the idea.
Therefore, I will haphazardly declare that women from Venezuela are the best ever at sex.
Closing Thoughts on Venezuelan Girls
I wish I had more to say on the topic, but my experience with the lovely women of this beautiful country has been relatively limited.
But so far, my opinion of Venezolanas is overwhelmingly positive.
And don't worry - I plan to buckle down and get much more research under my belt (so to speak).
All, selflessly, for my readers, of course.
Let me know if you have anything to add about what Venezuelan girls are like in the comment section.
PS. If you want to meet women from Venezuela at home or abroad, there are tons of them on Latin American Cupid.
Until next time.
