And welcome to my Ultimate Workflow Masterclass review.
This is a course that will teach you how to increase your productivity by building systems for managing your time and tasks.
Now, you may be asking yourself, why is a blog about Latin America reviewing a course about improving your workflow?
Well, as some of you know - living and traveling Latin America as I do - I make money online.
And, based on the emails I receive, a lot of you guys want to do the same.
This course will absolutely help you do just that.
But First! Who Is Justin C Scott?
Course creator Justin C Scott describes himself as a Creator | Storyteller | Writer | Entrepreneur | On a Continuous Journey of Self Optimization (taken from his Twitter page).
I’ve interacted with Justin on Twitter and throughly enjoy his content. He’s constantly dropping knowledge about how to optimize your life and work, seek fulfilment and unleash your creativity.
A rare, authentic voice on a platform with a lot of self-aggrandizing.
Do you have a Twitter account? follow him.
If you purchase his course, you can contact him there for any questions you may have.
A Quick Breakdown of Ultimate Workflow Masterclass
Right, let’s get into it!
As you might expect from someone who is a wizard with systems and optimization, this course is extremely well-organized.
When you purchase the course, you’ll be provided with a download link to its content, which includes videos, screenshots, helpful resources, etc.
But why am I telling you when I can show you!
As you can see, the Course Module content consists of 5 sections: Evernote, Desktop, Sidebar, Asana and Mobile.
Each section contains several videos where Justin goes over exactly how to use these tools for maximum efficiency.
Let’s dive into each section, shall we?
Evernote. Likely the world’s most popular note taking app. You’ve probably heard of it (if not, check it out!).
In this section, Justin reveals his method of using Evernote to seamlessly organize everything from his business, to his personal life to his creative work.
Essentially, Evernote will be your first step in streamlining your workflow.
I’ll confess: I downloaded Evernote about a year back and promptly deleted it - I couldn’t see how it was much different than any other note taking app.
This course showed me how wrong I was!
In the module, Justin showed me the full power of Evernote, and how it can be used to perfectly organize…well, basically everything. I’ve since re-downloaded the app on my devices and, thanks to Justin, consider it an indispensable tool - one that I use daily.
…and best of all, it’s free!
Does your desktop look like a grenade went off inside your screen?
Before taking this course, mine did.
In this section, Justin instructs you how to organize your desktop for maximum efficiency and functionality.
His system for doing this is a revelation - regardless of how many projects you have going on, or how much of a disaster your desktop is, this module will show you how to keep it all in check and looking clean.
And now for something I didn’t even know existed!
The ability to access your most-used Internet resources, whether for business or pleasure, will save you a mountain of time in the long run.
This section shows you how to get all that set up and looking pretty.
On to something else I didn’t know existed!
It’s a project management app that tracks and organizes any project on your mental to-do list.
The app is packed with features, so it can be slightly intimidating at first, but Justin shows you, step by step, how to maneuver this app, and how to use it to its full capacity.
Essentially, Asana allows you to plan and structure your tasks in the manner that works best for you, and dictate the timeframe in which you plan to accomplish each task. It enables you to track your progress every step of the way and create visual project plans to help you better conceptualize your goals.
If this sounds vague as hell, don’t worry - this module explains exactly how to arrange everything so you can turn yourself into a goal-meeting machine.
Chances are, you desperately need to organize your phone.
In the final module, Justin shows you the importance of being able to transition seamlessly between your mobile device and your laptop to - you guessed it - optimize your workflow.
This was my favourite course module simply because, with a few easy changes, Justin shows you how to turn your desktop and phone into a single entity that works for you.
The utility of this cannot be understated.
Justin shows you how he’s made his desktop on his computer look exactly like the screen on his phone (right down to the same background image!), and why this matters. He explains how to ultimately make your phone an extension of your computer, and vice versa. This allows you to tackle the same tasks whether you’re dialed in at the home office, or waiting in line at the grocery store.
Don’t be a slave to your devices. Make them work for you.
You may have heard similar tired cliches. But Justin shows you how to actually accomplish this through a few simple changes.
***AN IMPORTANT NOTE: All of the apps that Justin references are 100% free to download. So, don’t worry - they’ll be no additional expenses apart from the purchase of this course.
Who Will Benefit From This Course?
Realistically, anyone who uses a computer or mobile phone will benefit from this course.
So, basically everyone.
Who will benefit most from this course?
Anyone who has a more flexible work schedule (e.g. freelancers) and/or anyone who has multiple pursuits.
For instance, if you have a job, a girlfriend, partake in recreational activities and creative endeavours, this course will help you set all of that straight and free up some precious time.
Or, if you’re trying to develop a side income through freelancing or an e-commerce business, this course will teach you to arrange your projects, pitches and goals in a professional manner.
If you’re a person with a lot on your plate, or if you’re thinking about starting that business you’ve always dreamed of, this course will get you off on the right foot and keep you on track.
How Much Does It Cost?
A one-time purchase of $99.00 will get you full-access to the Ultimate Workflow Masterclass. This includes any and all future additions and amendments that Justin adds to improve the course.
Is it worth the money?
Yes. In my opinion, it is.
Sure, you can find “productivity hacks” on YouTube, but I haven’t found a single video or website that tells you exactly how to develop an effective structure for maximizing your workflow and keeping everything organized across all of your apps and devices.
Justin is providing you with a readily applicable system. A system that he’s developed after plenty of trial and error. It’s not just a series of isolated tips and tricks. Each one of the video modules lead into the next, and all the resources he uses and recommends work seamlessly with one another.
Like a well-oiled machine.
Justin’s holistic approach allows you to immediately apply his system to your life. If you follow the steps, you’ll see your productivity (as well as your free time and income) rise.
I’ll end my Ultimate Workflow Masterclass review by talking a bit about myself.
(because I’m narcissistic like that).
When I first started on the path of freelancing/entrepreneurship/various forms of “hustling” without an employer, I didn’t think I was cut out for it. I’d grown up my entire life with structure: people telling me what to do.
Naturally, when I struck out on my own, I felt as though I was drifting.
These days, we hear a lot about personality types; how some people are naturally better suited as entrepreneurs, and others as employees. I certainly thought I was in the latter camp.
But, I had a problem.
I wanted to live and travel Latin America. And I couldn’t exactly do that while working a 9-5 in Canada.
Even though my brain was telling me I wasn’t cut out for it, I had to find a way to work for myself.
I was finally able to do it. And, looking back now, the biggest game-changer wasn’t waking up at sunrise, cold showers, affirmations or any of that motivational-type stuff.
It was the fact that I finally developed a framework.
You see, my need for structure, the same one that I thought was preventing me from ever being not-an-employee, I was looking at it all wrong. Once I stopped seeking structure from elsewhere and instead developed a structure for myself by tracking my progress, pitches, taking notes and keeping to a schedule, I started to see success, and working for myself didn’t seem like such an impossible undertaking.
Fast forward to today, and I make thousands of dollars from my computer each month, don’t really have to answer to anyone and I can work from whatever country I like.
So, I guess my message to you is this: if you want to start working for yourself, but aren’t sure you’re cut out for it, reconsider. Maybe it’s not your personality type, neuroticism or risk-aversion.
Maybe you’re like me and you just have to get your shit organized!
I guarantee that Justin C Scott’s Ultimate Workflow Masterclass will show you how.
Thanks for listening guys.
