Another quick one today.
Here are the most-viewed cities on My Latin Life. Since my city guides aren't SEO'ed, these results should be more or less organic. Number one gets 1,500 views a month, and number 10 gets 600 views a month.
This should give you an idea of what destinations are popular among Latin American enthusiasts. Use that information as you will - either to avoid places you think are "overrun," or, to hit up the cities other foreigners seem to be interested in.
Let's do it!
Nothing too out of the ordinary.
I didn't expect that much interest in Pereira, Colombia but I've also had some negative press from that particular city guide, which leads me to believe it's ranking well for a keyword or two.
In the spirit of being up-front, it's important to keep in mind that I haven't updated these city guides for awhile - I've stopped my perpetual travel, and now prefer to stay in one place for at least a few months. That means that prices and popular nightlife spots for many of these cities may have changed.
However, any cultural commentary (ease of hooking-up, hotness of women, etc) should still hold true - culture doesn't change as rapidly as prices and popular venues, after all.
Also, I link my Lima guide and my Mexico City guide to several articles, so perhaps the high views for these guides have more to do with my thrusting them in readers' faces as opposed to organic interest.
And that's about it!
I simply thought it would be interesting for readers to see which places other travellers are interested in.
If you're looking to find your perfect Latin American city, be sure to check out my city guides - there's about 80 cities to peruse, so chances are you'll find something to your liking.

Until next time,
